Man Crush Monday

Andrew asked me the other day what my favorite word is to hear Parker say.  The little guy learns so fast and is saying new things everyday.  He has the sweetest Southern drawl and gets so excited when he can identify something (which happens pretty constantly these days), that he will say the same word over and over.

As of this weekend, Andrew’s favorite word for him to say is “snow,” or “no.”  And while I agree, and actually love every word that comes out of that tiny mouth, my most favorite thing to hear him say is “da-dee,” which is something he says a whole lot.  The boy loves his daddy.  Andrew and Parker have such a sweet relationship.  I love watching them play and hang out together, it just melts my heart.

Yes, Parker has snow boots on over his pajamas. And yes, Andrew is holding a ceramic bird.

We went out for an early Valentine's dinner this past weekend. Delicious fella, delicious cake. And also giant delicious cheeseburger.

They’re real cute.  I’ll be crushing on them every Monday from here on out.

G’night.

@hanlee20 took me out for pancakes and "extra crispy" bacon this morning. A good sister knows when the other sister needs pancakes. It's intuitive. Being a mom is really, really hard sometimes. It's just a lot, and today it has felt like way too much. I like the idea of God not giving us more than we can handle, but I've been thinking lately... What if He does? What if that's how we stretch and grow? I don't much enjoy it, or days like today, but I'll push through and hold on to the truth that He's not finished with me yet. Can I get an amen? $1.93 and worth a lot more. I'm nervous I might run out/they will stop making it. Consider this a PSA for your brows.
