snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes

I FINISHED THE COVER LETTER.  It is well written, but I still just feel so silly about it for some reason.  Maybe it’s the whole here’s-all-the-reasons-you-should-hire-me thing… I don’t know, it just feels funny.  I let my mother-in-law read it and she had some good pointers.  I still have some tweaking and fine tuning to do before I send it in.  The deadline to do so is Monday, so I have a couple of days to get my tweak on.

So today I subbed, and pretty much felt like death warmed up for the better part of it.  Luckily there was an assembly for a few periods (the title of it:  Sex Still Has a Price Tag, and no, it wasn’t about prostitution.. I asked), so I just chilled (well, warmed) next to the regular teacher’s space heater and read my nerdy food blogs that I so enjoy.  All in all a decent day.

And, IT’S SNOWING HERE.   I love da snows.

Sickness update:  As of about 20 minutes ago, Andrew had a fever of 100.2.  Poor baby.  😦  My fever earlier was a whopping 95.3….. ha.  We’re both feeling pretty crummy, but luckily there is no work to be done tomorrow so we can REST.  And eat cinnamon rolly pollies.

My sincerest apologies for the bland vanilla-ness of this post.  I promise a lil hawt chocolate (pronounced “showkahlot”) tomorrow and the days beyond that.

Adieu ♥
