kids these days

I just had a most interesting conversation with a 7th grade boy.  Actually, I don’t know if you can call it a conversation – it was rather one sided… Him going on and on about how Star War’s weapons are eventually going to be made for the Army to use… Me nodding and trying to correctly decipher words through his speech impediment.  It kind of sounded like he only had half of a tongue.  I’ve got to give the kid some props though – just because he sounded different from the other kids sure didn’t stop him from talking to me the entire class period about whether or not it is legal to have a machine gun in your house for protection.
