It’s fall, ya’ll.

September 5, 2011 by Heather

The first official day of autumn is still seventeen days away, but this weekend sure did feel like fall.  We kept the windows open the whole time, which meant putting an extra blanket on the bed and waking up to those wonderful chilly mornings that have you reaching for your fuzzy pajama pants.  This kind of weather makes me feel so much better about life in general.  It makes me nostalgic and hopeful for the future all at the same time.  Scarves, jeans, boots, pumpkins, soups, cinnamon, and throw blankets.  How can you not love fall?  I do believe it is my most favorite season.

This first chilly weekend was a very good one indeed, marked with a fun night out, riding in a parade with 15,000 other people, cuddling up on the couch watching movies and eating yummy food, sleeping in, a late night walk to the grocery store to get ice cream, and an afternoon at the park with a silly dog.  Good, good, stuff.

A bed in a bag for $9.99. Andrew was impressed.

Walking around Ikea can be exhausting.

Watching our friend, Cliff, play at Starbucks.

Bright and shining faces.

pizza: potatoes, leeks, bacon, goat cheese, parmesan cheese, amazing.
