the good kind of tired

Listen.  My house has looked like this all week:

You don’t even want me to show you the other rooms.  It’s just depressing.

So instead of trying to sort out my thoughts to come up with a decent and coherent blog post this afternoon, I’m going to turn on some music and take my exhausted fanny from room to room until each one is clean.  Let’s just say Parker’s nap better last at least 14 hours for me to be able to accomplish this.

Life doesn’t slow down, does it?

We braved a soccer game for a little while one afternoon this week. Why don’t babies understand PLAYING IN THE SHADE? Forget the soccer game, he wanted to play in the parking lot where it was 537 degrees.

Never too early to teach your children some chores. This is his new thing: letting Mayfield in from using the bathroom. He even smacks his lips together to call her inside. I can't hardly stand it.

Never too early to teach your children some chores, right? This is his new thing: letting Mayfield in from using the bathroom. He even smacks his lips together to call her inside. I can’t hardly stand it.

Happy Thursday!

Happy Thursday!

Let’s have a coffee date tomorrow, shall we?
